The Gadsden flag is a historical American flag with a yellow field depicting a rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike. Positioned below the snake is the legend "DONT TREAD ON ME" [sic]. The flag was designed by and is named after American general and statesman Christopher Gadsden. It was also used by The United States Marine Corps as an early motto flag.
Nicely made! Display your pride! This flag is very nicely made with the image and slogan imprinted on both sides. Some Gadsden Flags only have the imprinting on one side. The image of the Rattlesnake is nicely and vividly engraved, as is the logo. This is a beautiful quality flag that Patriots can fly with pride! Great quality I was skeptical when I bought this flag, I thought it might be cheap. The printing is pretty good. You'll have to iron it when it comes. Excellent value! I purchased this flag for my son's playground fort. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is bright and well made, not to mention a great price. It arrived quickly in brand new condition. The snake is black and white, not brown as pictured. All in all, a great purchase! Don't pay for quick shipping If you want something quick, don't order it this way. if Amazon doesn't have it and you get it from a supplier, paying extra for next day delivery means nothing!!! I got this item a week later. The flag is ok though, just the quality I figured it would be.
